White solid. HYGROSCOPIC. A zwitterionic amidosulfobetaine detergent useful for solubilizing proteins visualized by 2D-electrophoresis. The increased solubilization produced by this detergent enables the identification of previously undetected membrane proteins. Purity: ≥95% by TLC. CAS 52562-29-5.
