Lyophilized solid. Salt-free. HYGROSCOPIC. Recombinant charybdotoxin expressed in E. coli. High-affinity ligand that is a potent blocker of the tetraethylammonium (TEA) and voltage-sensitive Ca2+-activated K+ channel. Biological activity: inhibition of Kv1.3 K+ channels expressed in Xenopus oocytes (IC50 = 1 nM). Purity: ≥98% by HPLC.
