Toyomycin Yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. Antitumor antibiotic that inhibits RNA synthesis. A cell-permeable fluorescent dye that can be used with Bisbenzimide H 33258 (Cat. No. 382061) to distinguish chromosomes by their total DNA content and DNA base composition. Reversibly interacts with DNA in the presence of Mg2+.
