White to off-white powder. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A protective agent for SH groups. Cyclizes as it reduces disulfides to thiols, so reaction is "driven" to completion. Does not contain waxy surfactant found in many other preparations. Purity: ≥97% by titration. Contaminants: Heavy metals: ≤1 ppm. Heavy metals: <1 ppm. Oxidized dithiothreitol: ≤0.5%.
