rhM-CSF

Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS, 50 µg of BSA/µg M-CSF. Recombinant, human macrophage colony-stimulating factor expressed in E. coli. Stimulates formation of macrophage colonies from bone marrow hematopoietic progenitor cells. Increases osteoclastic bone resorption in adults. Induces cell death in HIV-1 infected monocytes. Biological activity: ED50 = 0.5-1.5 ng/ml as measured in a cell proliferation assay using the M-CSF-dependent mouse monocytic cell line, M-NFS-60. Purity: ≥97% by SDS-PAGE. Contaminants: Endotoxin: <1.0 EU/µg M-CSF. RTECS GI5500000, CAS 81627-83-0.
