Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1
Flt-2

Liquid. In 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris-HCl, 5 mM DTT, 4 mM reduced glutathione, 20% glycerol, pH 8.0. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human FGFR1 fused at the N-terminus to a GST-His6-thrombin cleavage site sequence and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. FGFR1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is involved in important processes such as cell division, regulation of cell growth and maturation, formation of blood vessels, wound healing, and embryonic development. Specific activity: ≥15 U/mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will transfer 1 nmol phosphate to Poly(Glu,Tyr)4:1 per min at 30°C, using variable concentrations from 0.1 µM to 8.42 µM ATP.
