Tyrosine Kinase JTK4 Liquid. In 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris-HCl, 15 mM reduced glutathione, 5 mM DTT, 20% glycerol, pH 8.0. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human FGF-R3 fused at the N-terminus to a GST-His6-thrombin cleavage site sequence and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells using a baculovirus expression system. FGF-R3 has tyrosine kinase and is involved in the development and maintenance of bone and brain tissue. Specific activity: ≥7 U/mg protein. On unit is defined as the amount enzyme required to transfer 1 nmol phosphate to Poly(Glu,Tyr)4:1 per min at 30°C, using variable concentrations of ATP (0.1-3.93 µM).
