mIGF-I

Lyophilized. Sterile-filtered prior to lyophilization. Contains no additives. Full-length, recombinant, mouse insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) expressed in E. coli. IGF-I regulates proliferation and survival signals through the Akt pathway. Mouse IGF-I shares 94% sequence identity with human IGF-I and exhibits cross-species reactivity. Useful in the study of cell proliferation and survival signals. Biological activity: ED₅₀: ≤2 ng/ml (corresponding to a specific activity of ≥1 x 10⁶ units/mg) as determined by a cell proliferation assay using FDC-P1 cells. For most in vitro applications IGF-I exerts is biological activity in the concentration range of 1-20 ng/ml.. Purity: ≥98% by SDS and HPLC. Contaminants: Endotoxin: ≤1 ng/µg IGF-I.
