rmIL-2 Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered 50 mM NH4OAc, 1 mM DTT, 50 µg BSA/µg IL-2, pH 4.0. Recombinant, mouse interleukin-2 expressed in E. coli. Lymphokine that functions as an autocrine factor, driving the expansion of antigen-specific cells. Also acts as a paracrine factor, influencing the activity of other cells, both within and outside of the immune system. IL-2 mediates the regression of metastatic cancers and increases phagocytic activity of Kupffer cells.
