a-D-Mannoside Mannohydrolase

Liquid. In 20 mM Tris-HCl, 10 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.5. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, Xanthomonas manihotis a1-2,3-Mannosidase expressed E coli. Cleaves a1,2- and a1,3-linked terminal mannose residues from oligosaccharides. M.W 70,000-75,000. Activity: ≥16,000 U/ml. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will cleave >95% of the terminal a-D-mannose from 1.0 nmol Mana1,3-Manb1,4GlcNAc-7-amino-4-methylcoumarin in 1 h at 35°C, pH 6.0. Contaminants: a-Galactosidase, a/b-Mannosidase, b-N-acetylglucosaminidase, and a-Fucosidase: <0.1%; b-Galactosidase <1%; Protease: none detected. EC 3.2.1.24, CAS 9025-42-7.
