Liquid. In 50 mM Tris-HCl, 5 mM MgCl2, 500 µM DTT, 50% glycerol, pH 7.6. Recombinant, Saccharomyces cerevisiae a1,2-Mannosyltransferase, catalytic domain expressed in E. coli. Catalyzes the transfer of mannose from GDP-mannose to the terminal mannose residue of O-linked dimannosyl proteins. Specific activity: ≥100 mU/mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will transfer 1.0 µmol mannose from GDP-mannose to methyl-a-D-mannopyranoside (Cat. No. 462711) per min at 30°C, pH 7.4. EC 2.4.1.. Note: 1 mU = 1 milliunit.
