Recombinant, human pro-MT4-MMP fused at the C-terminus to a His•Tag® sequence, expressed in E. coli as a periplasmic protein and activated to yield the active catalyic domain. MT4-MMP catalytic domain can be used to study the biological function of MT4-MMP and its interactions with other matrix metalloproteases. Specific activity: ≥8 mU/mg protein.
