b-Nerve Growth Factor, Human, Recombinant

Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered solution in PBS containing 50 µg BSA/µg b-NGF. Recombinant, human b-nerve growth factor expressed in NSO cells. Involved in neuroimmune interactions and inflammation. Biological activity: ED50 = 800-1500 pg/ml as measured in a cell proliferation assay using a factor-dependent human erythroleukemic cell line. Purity: ≥97% by SDS-PAGE. Contaminants: Endotoxin: ≤100 pg/µg b-NGF.
