White to off-white solid. A b-galactosidase substrate for colorimetric and EIA applications; counterpart of widely used pNPP/alkaline phosphatase substrate. o-Nitrophenol is produced as the end product and is monitored at 405 nm. Purity: ≥98% (Enzymatic method). Contaminants: free o-nitrophenol: ≤0.05%. CAS 369-07-3.
