Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered 40% acetonitrile, 0.1% TFA. Recombinant, human platelet-drived growth factor AB (produced by the in vitro dimerization of PDGF-A and PDGF-B monomers.) and expressed in E. coli. Biological activity: ED₅₀ = 1-3 ng/ml as measured by stimulation of ³H-thymidine incorporation in quiescent NR6R-3T3 fibroblasts. Purity: ≥97% by SDS-PAGE. Contaminants: Endotoxin: ≤1 EU/µg PDGF-AB.
