Liquid. In sodium phosphate buffer, 20% glycerol, pH 7.2. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, bovine c-GMP-specific phosphodiesterase expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. Supplied as partially purified, catalytically active, dimeric holoenzyme. A target enzyme for Viagra (sildenafil). Suitable for enzymatic studies and as a standard in Western blots using Anti-Phosphodiesterase V Antibody (Cat. No. 524583). Activity: ≥50,000 units/ml. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1.0 pmol cGMP per min at 25°C, pH 7.2.
