A cell-permeable ATP-competitive PKC inhibitor that exhibits decreased potency and selectivity towards calcium-dependent isoforms (IC50 = 0.53, 0.7, 0.39, 2.83, and 1.23 µM for PKCa, PKCb, PKCg, PKCd, and PKCe, respectively) when compared with its stereoisomer UCN-01 (Cat.
